DIY Valentine Design Ideas!

 Hi Friends,

It's almost Valentine's Day, how do you like to celebrate this special day? In this post we are sharing 3 beautiful Valentine Day treat design trends we have seen and how you can get the look!

#1. Large Breakable Heart
Fill a breakable heart with candy, a gift, or both! Get this look by molding chocolate or almond bark using a large breakable heart mold. Complete the look by filling your box with candy hearts or marshmallows. For chocolate we recommend Colour Mill oil-based icing colors, and for almond bark, we recommend using ChefMaster icing colorsThis adorable pink breakable heart was made by XO Simply Sweet. Check out a video on how we make this in our YouTube Shorts here.

#2 Pink Butterfly Cupcakes
Create a box of pretty pink cupcakes for your valentine. Get this look by using 1M tips to make rosettes and drop flower patterns. Use icing colors in light pink and increase intensity with additional drops of color or by mixing a deeper pink with the light. Complete the look with gold butterflies. This beautiful box of pnk cupcakes was made by Bake It Pretty GF.

#3 Pretty in Pink Cake
We made this 8" ombre cake using Rose Pink icing color by ChefMaster for the icing as well as for the mini geometric hearts. The mini hearts were made using our Mini Geometric Heart Mold. Swipe to the end of the mold images for a video on how we decorated this cake! Complete the look using 1M tips and cotton piping bags to pipe big lucious swirls.

I hope one of these ideas inspired you and I would love to see what you create this Valentine's Day! Tag @cakecouturelove with your creation on your Valentine's post!

Have a sweet day, with love,
Christie
